EDO State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has inaugurated the technical committee on the development of Gelegele Seaport.
The committee which has Mr. Greg Ero as chairman is expected to come up with a master plan for the development of the Seaport.
Obaseki explained that the development of the Seaport was a sure way to foster economic development in the state, adding that apart from its historical importance, the Gelegele port, when developed, would create jobs, boost the state’s revenue and economy through the creation of agro-industrial park.
