FPSO vessel to berth at LADOL’s multi-purpose facility in September

Arrangements are in top gear to receive Egina Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) Vessel at Lagos Deep Offshore Logistics Base (LADOL) facility in September.

   FPSO is a floating vessel located near an oil platform, where oil is processed and stored until it can be transferred to a tanker for transporting.

 City BusinessNews (www.citybusinessnews.com) gathered on Wednesday that the Vessel is expected in September this year (2017) following the necessary approval obtained from the Federal Government by Lagos Deep Offshore Logistics (LADOL).

 Already, LADOL has invested over $350million for the integration of the Floating Production Storage Offshore (FPSO) vessel for the Egina deep-water oil field.

 The project, which is being handled by LADOL in a joint venture with South Korean giant, Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI).
