FRSC seeks driver’s prosecution over death of three Marshals

For allegedly killing three Marshals, a driver has been handed over to the Police by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
   According to the FRSC, while carrying out their lawful duties at a mobile court located at Talata Mafara, four of its staff, one policeman, and one personnel from the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps were hit by a Golf driver, killing three FRSC Marshals and injuring one.
Also injured were the policeman and a Civil Defence staff who according to a statement issued by FRSC Head, Media Relations and Strategy, Bisi Kazeem are all recuperating in the hospital after sustaining serious injuries. The victims were taken to Talata Mafara general hospital.
 The victims were on patrol activities at a mobile court sitting at Tsafe, Zamfara State, when a driver of an unregistered Golf vehicle ran into them.
  Already, the Corps Marshal of FRSC, Mr. Boboye Oyeyemi has directed that the full weight of law must be applied against the driver for the killings‎.
