Part of Ifo local government area, Ogun State was agog on Monday as people from all walks of life joined Catholic faithfuls to celebrate the 40th priestly anniversary of Very Revered Monsignor Sylvester Osigweh.
Ordained a Catholic Priest on December 18, 1977, in Abeokuta, Monsignor Osigweh is currently the Parish Priest of St Mary Catholic Church, Ifo, Ogun State.
Monday’s celebration started with Holy Mass at St Mary Catholic Church. In attendance were several dignitaries including Bishop of Abeokuta Diocese, Most REV. (DR.) Peter Olukayode Odetoyinbo, higly respected Archbishop Emeritus, Alaba Job, several priests, traditional rulers, Chief Executive Officers of Corporations, Industrialists, among others.
