Bajaj Auto’s total vehicle sales (domestic + exports) stood at 402,021 units in September 2021, marking a decline of 9% compared to 441,306 units recorded in the same month last year.
The management of Bajaj Auto has also explained 16% decline in its total domestic sales to 192,348 units in September 2021. The Company had sold 228,731 vehicles in the domestic market in September 2020.
Two-wheeler domestic sales in September stood at 173,945 units as compared to 219,500 units in the same month of 2020, a decline of 21%, Bajaj Auto said in a regulatory filing. Commercial vehicle domestic sales, however, increased 99% in September 2021 to 18,403 units compared to 9,231 units sold in the same month in 2020, it said.
In September, Bajaj Auto’s total exports also saw degrowth of 1% at 209,673 units as against 212,575 units in the same month last year
