The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Osun State Command, has charged its unit commanders to be innovative on how to check traffic congestion and reduce road accidents in their corridors.
The command also reiterated the need to seek the support of other sister agencies for efficient service delivery.
A statement issued by the command’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mrs Agnes Ogungbemi in Osogbo on Saturday explained that“The Unit Commanders are to take responsibilities and ensure discipline among staff, and ensure no room for moral decadence,” Ogungbemi said.
She said the charge was a fallout of a recent virtual meeting between Corps Marshal, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi and sector commanders.
Ogungbemi called on the personnel to demonstrate professionalism in the discharge of their duties..
She said the command would continue to collaborate with stakeholders towards ensuring the safety of lives on the nation’s roads. nan.
