Born in Calabar on Sunday 23rd September 1962 to Chiefs Rufus Sunday and Benedicta Olaitan Koyejo, both renowned educationists of blessed memory.
Olukemi Bosede is the first of six children. She was raised by disciplinarian parents who were staunch Anglicans. She was baptised as an infant and confirmed in the Anglican Church in 1979.
Kemi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dramatic Arts, and an MBA from the University of Ife and Obafemi Awolowo University respectively.
She worked briefly at the then University of Ife after her NYSC in Ilorin
Kwara State, before proceeding to join the Federal Road Safety Commission where she had a brief stint as Route Commander Public Enlightenment
In 1991, she joined Mandilas Enterprises Limited as Public Relations Officer and rose to become General Manager in the Mobility Division of the company. Kemi’s automobile industry experience spans over 30 years and her passion for the industry is unrivalled. She is a member of various professional bodies and has won several industry awards
Kemi is a child of God with unflinching faith in Christ Jesus. Though currently the General Secretary of the Elders’ Fellowship in The Lord’s Chapel of The Redeemed Christian Church of God where she worships, Kemi is deeply committed to her home church St Paul’s Anglican Church in Ifon, Owo Diocese. Ondo State.
She was honoured and installed as the “Majekobaje Obirin of the same church in January 2020 and “Icon of Lois” of Owo Diocese in July 2021. A graduate of the RCCG School of Disciples, she also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Theology and belongs to several outreaches, including The Lord’s Arena – an outreach that seeks to lead people with social challenges to Christ and help them live worthy lives.
