The National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) has conferred the “Vanguard of Good Leadership & Epitome of Hope” award on the Director General, National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Joseph Osanipin in recognition of his commitment to youth empowerment, passion to humanity, educational transformation and his contribution towards the upliftment of the down- trodden in Nigeria.
The award was presented to the NADDC DG on Wednesday, 6th November, 2024 at the NADDC headquarters Abuja by the leader of the NANS delegation, Comrade Anzaku Shedrack who also doubles as the Vice President and the Chairman of the Zonal Coordinators.
Presenting the National Outstanding Award, Comrade Shedrack applauded the NADDC Boss for his service to humanity, outstanding leadership qualities and commitment to the development of the Nigeria automotive industry, adding that the Director General’s achievements within a short while in office particularly in the area of Nigerian youths capacity development through various training programs underscores the reason for the prestigious honour.
In appreciation, Osanipin thanked the association for the recognition and implored them to engage more with the process of governance to enable them be abreast with the programs and projects of the government aimed to further create more job opportunities for the young people.
He also seized the opportunity to highlight the Councils mandates and achievements, urging the youths to key into the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas initiative ( PCNG-i) of the Federal Government and take advantage of the opportunities for more meaningful contributions to the society.
