The board of RT. Briscoe Plc at its annual general meeting (AGM) on July 24, 2024, confirmed the Board’s appointment of Mr. Jubril Adetokunbo Shittu FCA, as the Finance Director of the company with effect from March 27, 2024.
Jubril who is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Lagos.
He also attended various leadership and management training programs both within and outside the country.
He has over 26 years of professional working experience in various finance and accounting positions in different companies across different sectors.
Mr. Shittu was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of R.T. Briscoe Nigeria Plc on September 1, 2019, a position he held until his recent appointment as Group Financial Director.
Reacting to Shittu’s promotion as RT. Briscoe’s new Executive Director in charge of Finance, Mike Ochonma, Chairman of Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) said he has no doubt, that under his role, that the company will witnesses positive turn around.
