The Executive Secretary/ Chief Executives Officer, Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC), Dr Akutah Pius Ukeyima, recently, received a team from the Port of Antwerp.
The meeting aimed at exploring areas of collaboration and partnership between the two organizations, ultimately seeking to establish a seamless intermodal transport system.
A statement explained that the visit of the delegation reiterated NSC’s commitment to creating a level playing field for all stakeholders, promoting ease of doing business, and encouraging private sector participation across the board.
Philip Droesbeke, Senior Manager at Port of Antwerp-Bruges International, described their visit as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between both organizations and explore potential areas of collaboration with the NSC.
