For the year ended December 31, 2025, ABC Transport Plc has declared consolidated gross profit of ₦1.4 billion, a significant increase from ₦634 million recorded in 2024, representing a growth of 121 per cent.
City Business News reports that the Group’s turnover also recorded a solid improvement, rising from ₦12.61 billion in 2024 to ₦16.31 billion in 2025, an increase of 29 per cent.
Profit after tax grew by 46 per cent to ₦863.7 million in 2025, compared with ₦592.53 million in the preceding year.
A review of the operating results shows that all business segments contributed positively to the improved performance recorded in 2025, underscoring the Group’s broad-based growth across its operations.
Explaining the factors behind the strong financial results, the Group Managing Director, Mr. Jude Nneji, attributed the performance to diversification and resilience across the company’s operating segments.
“Our strategy is to carry a portfolio of businesses within the road transport and logistics industry, which though complementary to some extent, are largely unique in terms of the influence of environmental factors. This has made us more resilient and increased our capacity to manage the impact of operating headwinds and other externalities,” Nneji said.
ABC Transport’s business portfolio includes a haulage division that provides dedicated services to Lafarge Africa Plc in support of its cement production operations. The Group also operates a logistics segment under ABC Cargo Express Limited, which delivers cargo, courier, warehousing and other allied services to blue-chip manufacturing companies as well as the general public. In addition, its travel operations provide passenger transport services within Nigeria and along the West African coast.
Other key business segments include City Transit Inn, a 114-room budget hotel located in Abuja; a manufacturing and trading arm operated under Transit Support Services Limited; and a Driver Training Academy. The academy serves as a strategic platform for meeting the Group’s need for well-trained drivers while also offering professional driver training services to the general public.
Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, management disclosed that while maintaining focus across all business segments, the Group plans to further expand its cargo and courier logistics operations. This will be driven by the expansion of branch networks and fulfilment centres nationwide, supported by a renewed fleet programme.
ABC Transport remains the most diversified transport operator in Nigeria, with operations spanning haulage, passenger transport, cargo logistics and hospitality. It is also currently the only transport company listed on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX).
