The President of the African Development Bank Group, Dr. Sidi Ould Tah, on Monday received the World Bank Group’s Managing Director of Operations, Anne Bjerde, and her high-level delegation at the Bank’s headquarters in Abidjan.
The strategic meeting centred on deepening collaboration between the two global development institutions.
Discussions focused on expanding joint initiatives, aligning development priorities, and enhancing coordinated support for African countries in areas such as infrastructure, economic resilience, climate action, and inclusive growth.
Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to stronger partnership frameworks that accelerate progress on the continent and deliver greater impact for African communities.
The engagement marks another significant step in reinforcing the long-standing cooperation between the AfDB and the World Bank Group.
