Based on the controversy that trailed last Saturday’s governorship primary election in Edo State, the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared the poll inconclusive.

This was disclosed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, on Tuesday after the leadership of the party had an emergency meeting with the NWC at the party secretariat in Abuja.

The poll, which was conducted on February 17 had produced three winners.

The Chairman of Electoral Committee of the primary, Governor Hope Uzodimma, had announced Dennis Idahosa as winner, while returning officer, Stanley Ugboaja, declared Monday Okpebholo as winner.

Meanwhile, Ojo Babatunde, who claimed to be representing the returning officers in all the local governments declared Anamero Dekeri as the winner of the election.
