Presco Plc has appointed Mr Adewale Arikawe to its board as a non-executive director, with effect from January 2, 2026.
Arikawe succeeds Mr. Felix Nwabuko, who is retiring from the Board after several years of service.
City Business News reports that Presco Plc disclosed the development in a notice to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), signed by its Secretary, Mr Frederick Ichekwai.
According to the notice, Mr Arikawe was appointed to fill a casual vacancy on the board and will serve in that capacity until the company’s next annual general meeting.
Presco commended Mr Nwabuko for his significant contributions to the company and its parent firm, SIAT NV, and expressed appreciation for his years of leadership and dedication.
In addition to his board appointment, Presco revealed that Mr Arikawe has also been named Group Chief Executive Officer of SIAT, with oversight responsibility for all its subsidiaries, including Presco Plc, SIAT Nigeria Limited and Ghana Oil Palm Development Company Limited.
The company said Mr Arikawe will collaborate with existing leadership teams across the group to strengthen execution, accelerate strategic growth and foster a high-performance culture. His priorities, Presco noted, will include leadership development, team empowerment and the delivery of sustainable results.
Mr Arikawe brings over 26 years of experience in general management, commercial strategy, sales and brand management.
He previously held senior leadership positions at Royal FrieslandCampina, where he oversaw operations across sub-Saharan Africa, as well as at FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria.
He also worked at Nestlé Nigeria Plc, managing multi-channel sales operations and contributing to key growth initiatives.
Mr Arikawe holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chichester and has completed executive education programmes at the London Business School and IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.
