Carloha Nigeria Extends Award-Winning Aftersales Package To New Energy Vehicles

As the adoption of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) gathers pace across Nigeria, Carloha Nigeria has moved to address one of the biggest concerns among prospective buyers by extending its acclaimed CarlohaCare 6-6-7 Service Package to cover its growing portfolio of electric and hybrid vehicles.
The move comes amid increasing demand for cleaner mobility solutions and growing concerns about after-sales support, maintenance costs, repair timelines and spare parts availability for NEV owners.
Industry observers note that while several New Energy Vehicles have entered the Nigerian market in recent years, many are sold without comprehensive after-sales support, creating uncertainty around long-term ownership, vehicle reliability and maintenance.
These concerns have led some owners to limit the use of their vehicles, reserving them for special occasions due to fears over repair costs, extended downtime and difficulties in sourcing replacement parts.
In response, Carloha Nigeria said it is committed to delivering a worry-free ownership experience through the extension of its award-winning CarlohaCare 6-6-7 package to customers purchasing New Energy Vehicles.
The package offers a six-year warranty, six years of free scheduled servicing and a seven-day repair guarantee. Under the initiative, any qualifying vehicle brought into a Carloha workshop is expected to be repaired within seven days.
Should repairs exceed the stipulated timeline, customers are provided with a courtesy vehicle to ensure uninterrupted mobility until their vehicle is fully repaired.
The CarlohaCare programme has already earned national recognition within the automotive industry. The package played a significant role in Carloha Nigeria receiving the prestigious Most Outstanding Aftersales Car Company Award from the Nigeria Auto Journalists Association, in recognition of its commitment to customer service excellence and vehicle ownership support.
The extension of the after-sales package to NEVs was announced during the media launch of the all-new Chery Tiggo 9 PHEV at Carloha Nigeria’s headquarters in Alapere, Lagos.
Speaking at the event, Dexter Li said the decision reflects the company’s confidence in the quality, durability and reliability of its electric and hybrid vehicle range.
According to him, the initiative also addresses one of the most significant barriers to NEV adoption in Nigeria—the lack of dependable after-sales support.
“Consumers should be able to embrace the future of mobility with confidence,” Li said. “By extending the CarlohaCare 6-6-7 package to our New Energy Vehicles, we are giving customers the assurance that their investment is protected by a robust support system that keeps them on the road and minimizes downtime.”
As Nigeria’s automotive sector gradually transitions toward cleaner and more sustainable transportation solutions, Carloha Nigeria is positioning itself as a key player in driving the shift through a combination of innovative vehicle offerings and strong customer support systems.
Industry analysts believe that the extension of the CarlohaCare package could help accelerate consumer confidence in New Energy Vehicles by addressing long-standing concerns around maintenance and ownership costs.
With the expanded programme, Carloha Nigeria aims not only to promote the adoption of electric and hybrid vehicles but also to redefine ownership standards in Nigeria’s evolving automotive market, ensuring that innovation is backed by dependable after-sales service and customer care.
