Entries For NCC’s 2021 National Essay Competition Ends July 30

Entries for the 3rd National Essay Competition of Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) ends Friday, 30th July, 2021.  

 Titled:5G Technology: Opportunities & Challenges, the competition now in its third edition is designed to inspire innovative essay writing skills in tertiary students across the country. 

 NCC had in a notice issued by the Director, Public Affairs of NCC, Dr. Ikechukwu Adinde, explained that the objective is to increase awareness on 5G Technology, engage and enhance research, encourage academic competition and excellence, while building capacity of undergraduates in Nigerian tertiary institutions.
He said:“All participants are expected to register their personal details in the form provided for download on the NCC website, signed by their Deans as genuine Nigerian Undergraduates,” said Adinde adding:“All essays will be subjected to plagiarism checks.”  

According to NCC, essay should contain a minimum of 1,000 words and a minimum of 500 words. The first prize includes a laptop, printer and cash prize of N500,000.00, the second prize winner will get N300,000 and third place winner will get N200,000 respectively.
