FRSC Bids Farewell To ACM Ogungbemide After Distinguished Career

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has bid an emotional farewell to Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM) Olusegun Ogungbemide, mni, as he retired from the Corps after a distinguished career of dedicated service to the nation.
The Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, mni, alongside members of the Management Team and the entire FRSC family, bade Ogungbemide farewell on Monday, August 24, 2026.
Until his retirement, ACM Ogungbemide served as the Assistant Corps Marshal in charge of the Operations Department at the FRSC National Headquarters, Abuja.
In the position, he made significant contributions to the Corps’ operational effectiveness, professionalism and road safety mandate.
The FRSC described his years of service as having left an enduring footprint on the organisation, while his wealth of experience, leadership and commitment were recognised as valuable contributions to the Corps’ history.
The Corps Marshal and Management commended Ogungbemide for giving his best in service to the nation and described his retirement as the beginning of a new chapter after years of dedicated service.
“ You may retire from the Corps, but your legacy will continue to live within it,” the FRSC said.
The Corps congratulated Ogungbemide on what it described as a remarkable journey of service, while wishing him fulfilment, good health and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
“Thank you for your service. Thank you for your sacrifice. Thank you for the legacy,” the Corps said.
