The Taraba Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), on Saturday, conducted a clearance operation at the Roadblock area of Jalingo to achieve ease in traffic flow.
Sector Commander, Selina Williams, who supervised the operation, told Journalists that the clearance became necessary in order to put an end to gridlock that appeared regular in the area.
“The clearance operation was a success as traders, hawkers, among others vacated the roads, thereby giving commuters a free flow of traffic.
“I also use this opportunity to warn hawkers, traders and others, causing obstructions, not to resurface around the area again,” she said.
Williams, therefore, warned illegal park operators at Roadblock to stay away from the free flow of traffic.
She directed Assistant Corps Commander, Audu Ifejka, the ACC Operations to continue with the exercise to fish out perpetrators for sanctions.
Williams assured the Taraba Government and the people of the state of the corps’ commitment to the safety of the roadsnan.
