The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, on Wednesday, paid an official visit to the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of Galaxy Backbone Limited, in a strategic move to reinforce collaboration between both agencies in advancing national digital infrastructure.
During the high-level meeting, the two leaders held extensive discussions on enhanced cooperation, particularly in the areas of data security, digital connectivity, and the deployment of advanced technologies to strengthen FRSC’s operational efficiency nationwide.
The engagement underscored the shared commitment of both institutions to leverage secure, reliable, and innovative ICT solutions for improved service delivery.
As part of the visit, the Corps Marshal embarked on a guided tour of Galaxy Backbone’s IT facilities, where he was shown critical infrastructure that powers government-wide connectivity and information management.
The tour highlighted the agency’s robust capabilities in cloud services, cybersecurity, and network operations, which are essential to supporting FRSC’s growing digital needs.
