The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), FCT Sector Command, on Sunday, March 1, 2026, received a Toyota Hilux donation from Dunamis International Gospel Centre at the Glory Dome, Abuja, in a move aimed at boosting the operational capacity of RS 7.18 Lugbe Unit Command.
The donation ceremony, held at the church’s headquarters in Abuja, underscored the growing partnership between faith-based organisations and the Corps in promoting road safety and enhancing emergency response across the Federal Capital Territory.
Representing the Corps Marshal, Godwin Omiko commended the leadership of the church for the generous gesture, describing it as a strong demonstration of corporate and social responsibility.
He noted that the additional patrol vehicle would significantly strengthen surveillance, rescue operations, and enforcement activities within the FCT, particularly in the Lugbe axis.
In a defining moment of the event, Senior Pastor of the church, Paul Enenche, and his wife, Becky Paul-Enenche, were decorated as Honorary Special Marshals of the FRSC. The investiture was formally endorsed by the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed.
The decoration symbolises their commitment to promoting discipline, compliance with traffic regulations, and advocacy for safer road use among members of the public.
Speaking at the ceremony, stakeholders emphasised the importance of collaborative efforts in tackling road crashes, stressing that achieving safer highways requires collective responsibility from government agencies, religious institutions, and the wider community.
The event concluded with a renewed pledge by both the FRSC and Dunamis International Gospel Centre to deepen cooperation in public enlightenment campaigns and initiatives aimed at reducing road traffic crashes and saving lives across the FCT and beyond.
