Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) on Thursday reported a 90% growth in its domestic sales at 40,496 units in June 2021, as against 21,320 units in June last year.
Exports of the automaker were up by 154% at 13,978 units, against 5,500 units in June 2020.
Total sales for the carmaker stood at 54,474 units in the month under review, as compared to 26,820 units in June last year.
The South Korean automaker on Wednesday rolled out its 10 millionth car, a 7-seater Alcazar SUV, from its manufacturing facility in Sriperumbudur near Chennai, Tamil Nadu, marking its 25 years of service in India.
