Hyundai Motor announced on Tuesday that its domestic sales in India increased 19.9 percent at 45,809 units in August 2020 as against 38,205 units in the same period last year.
However, export sales for the automaker declined 61.7 percent at 6, 800 units last month compared to 17,800 units in August 2019.
Commenting on August sales performance, Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India Limited said, “Good response to the all new Creta, Verna, Tucson, Nios, Aura and recently launched India’s First iMT powertrain – Hyundai Venue, has resulted in this performance.
