For the Month of October, 2020, Hyundai recorded a growth of 13.2% in the Indian domestic sales. According to a statement issued on Sunday, the auto firm sold 50,010 units in the domestic market in the same month last year.
The company recorded its highest ever monthly domestic sales in October 2020. The previous highest monthly domestic sales number was achieved in the month of October 2019 with 52,001 units.
Exports stood at 12,230 units in the outgoing month as against 13,600 units exported in October 2019 registering a decline of 10.1%.
Cumulative (Domestic + Exports) sales stood at 68,835 units in the month of October as compared to 63,610 units in the same month last year.
Commenting on the October sales performance, Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), said, “With the advent of the festive season, Hyundai achieved landmark sales of 56,605 units in the month of October 2020 with a growth of 13.2% over Oct’19.”
He added, “The October month sales performance has set a positive tone for the overall business environment and we are confident that Hyundai will continue to strongly contribute towards sustainable growth of the economy, community and all its stakeholders“.
