Hyundai Rolls Out 200 Units As 250 Dealers Resumes

Hyundai Motor at the weekend announced that it rolled out 200 cars on the first day of production resumption at its plant in Sriperumbudur, Chennai in India.

The South Korean automaker explained that the production resumption has been done following the guidelines from Ministry of Home Affairs.

The automaker has also resumed operations at 250 retail outlets since May 5.

The company explained that is restarting production in phased manner and resuming operations at dealerships complying with the government’s attempt to revive the economy.

Meanwhile, around 250 company dealerships have resumed operations across various states in the counrty. The company, which is the country’s second largest carmaker, said over 250 workshops have also commenced work and vehicle deliveries have also begun.
