Jaguar Land Rover has revealed the 2021 F-Pace SVR with an enhanced engine and redesigned exterior details.
It is based on Jaguar‘s advanced EVA 2.0 platform that includes motorsport-inspired details and performance-focused interiors.
The 2021 F-Pace SVR is powered by a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged petrol engine which will churn out 550 PS of power and offer a peak torque of 700 Nm.
JLR said there is a 20 Nm increase in the torque compared to the outgoing version. With the new engine, the SUV can clock 0-100 kmph in four seconds and achieve a top speed of 286 kmph. The engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The SUV will come with an upgraded dynamic mode and a dynamic launch feature. The steering system has also been enhanced with a new electronic power-assistance system offering heightened connection with the driver.
“The original F-PACE SVR was incredibly characterful, well received by customers and has gone on to become the highest-selling Jaguar SV product ever. The new version builds on this success, by making numerous detailed improvements that combine to raise the bar in the high-performance SUV segment,” Michael van der Sande, MD, Jaguar special vehicle operations, said.
The F-Pace is equipped with an improved braking system with a new Integrated Power Booster. The brake tuning is specific to the SVR performance flagship. Jaguar’s all-wheel-drive with intelligent driveline dynamics comes as standard.
The SUV comes with a 12.3-inch HD interactive driver display, Pivi Pro interface, OTA updates, active road noise cancellation and an advanced driver assistance system.
