JBS Foundation Begins Registration Of Elderly People In Lagos

JBS Elderly Health & Wellbeing Foundation Africa (JBS Foundation)on January 11, 2021 commenced the registration of Impoverished elderly people living in Africa, starting from Lagos, Nigeria.

A statement issued by the group explained that the “most vulnerable, elderly and needy are being registered for the Foundation’s flagship programme, ‘Adopt a Gran’. Almost 100 Grannies have been interviewed this Januaryin three different locations in Lagos. The locations includeSurulere, Ayobo and Anthony.

“The focus of the programme is to meet the needs of the underprivileged elderly in Africaincluding providing basic necessities and basic healthcare. Thanks to the sponsors and donations that have come in, 20 out of the 100 Impoverished elderly people have their upkeep funded for February 2021 and would be receiving supplies shortly. 80 more to go for Lagos State.

“JBS Foundation seeks private and public partnerships that will cater to the well-being and health needs of underserved and less privileged elderly people in Africa”.
