The newly posted Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Sector Commander in Akwa Ibom State, Felicia Kalu, has officially assumed duty, beginning her tenure with an inaugural parade aimed at reinforcing integrity, professionalism, and transparency within the command.
Addressing officers and men, Kalu expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded her, describing road safety as a continuous responsibility that requires sustained commitment. She pledged to build on the solid foundation laid by her predecessor to further strengthen operations in the state.
The Sector Commander urged personnel to align with the Corps’ strategic direction under the leadership of the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, with a focus on improving public education, discipline, and overall service delivery.
She warned against corruption and misconduct, stressing the need for diligence, professionalism, and courtesy in the discharge of duties. Kalu assured that outstanding performance would be recognised and rewarded, while acts of indiscipline would attract appropriate sanctions.
