The 2025 KPMG Alumni Cocktail Event brought together past and present colleagues for an evening of reconnection, celebration, and renewed professional bonds.
The gathering served as a vibrant platform to strengthen the firm’s alumni network while honouring shared experiences and achievements across generations of KPMG professionals.
The event opened with welcome remarks from Nike Oyewolu, Director of Alumni Relations, KPMG Nigeria, who emphasized the enduring value of the KPMG community and the importance of sustained engagement among alumni.
This was followed by a keynote address delivered by Adenike Adeyemi, Executive Director of FATE Foundation.
Her remarks highlighted the power of networks, leadership, and long-term collaboration in shaping impact-driven careers.
A structured networking session, moderated by David Brown, Managing Partner at DBrown Consulting and member of the Alumni EXCO, created opportunities for alumni to reconnect, build new relationships, and exchange insights across diverse fields and industries.
Tola Adeyemi, Senior Partner, KPMG Nigeria & CEO, KPMG West Africa, delivered the CEO’s address, reflecting on the organisation’s continued evolution and introducing the newly elected Alumni EXCO to the wider community.
A key highlight of the evening was the official launch of the 2025 edition of Interactions — the KPMG Alumni Magazine.
Unveiled by Toyin Gbagi, Partner and Chief Operating Officer, KPMG West Africa, the publication celebrates inspiring stories, professional milestones, and the wide-ranging accomplishments of the KPMG alumni network.
