Lagos Trains Staff On Cyber Securit

The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has organised a one-day cybersecurity awareness training for mid-level staff members in recognition of the critical role they play in protecting sensitive information and preventing data breaches in today’s digital age.
The training covered key areas, including password management, email safety, social engineering, data protection, network security, incident response and reporting, towards equipping staff with the knowledge and skills needed to prevent cyber threats.
A statement explained that the initiative aims at preventing phishing attacks, reducing human errors, and ensuring compliance with Data Protection Regulations, ultimately enhancing the security of the Ministry’s systems and data.
