City Business News reports that the NDLEA Chairman and his delegation were received by the management of Lekki Port and taken on a guided tour of the state-of-the-art facility, “underscoring the shared commitment of both organisations to secure, transparent and world-class port operations’.
The visit also featured the participation of the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Lagos Free Zone, Mrs. Adesuwa Ladoja, alongside representatives of the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA), the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and other partner agencies.
Lekki Port said the presence of the various agencies reflected the strong inter-agency collaboration that continues to promote seamless trade, regulatory compliance and operational excellence at the country’s “deepest seaport”.
The port management expressed appreciation to the NDLEA leadership for what it described as a productive engagement, reaffirming its commitment to deepening cooperation with the anti-narcotics agency in safeguarding Nigeria’s gateway to global trade.
The visit is expected to further strengthen efforts to enhance security, improve cargo integrity and support efficient trade operations at Lekki Port while reinforcing the role of strategic partnerships in protecting the nation’s maritime and logistics ecosystem.
