Mercedes-Benz has delivered the 55,555th low-floor Citaro bus. The eCitaro all-electric was delivered to a Swedish company Bergkvarabuss AB.
As the German company claims, it was the second eCitaro order from Bergkvarabuss AB. which operates different kind of bus services.
Roman Biondi, Head of Sales at Daimler Buses, said, “The Citaro is a milestone in bus history. And with the arrival of the eCitaro, its development has entered a new phase. It is our answer to the need for quiet and locally emission-free urban buses. As a result, it is also making towns a much better place to live.”
Mercedes-Benz eCitaro comes with 12 battery packs on board and the total capacity of them is 292 kWh.
