
Moove, a global mobility company founded in Lagos, has announced plans to shut down its operations in Nigeria and transfer ownership of eligible vehicles worth about ₦35 billion to existing customers.
The company made the announcement on Thursday, six years after commencing operations in Nigeria.
According to Moove, the decision is part of a transition process that will see eligible customers take ownership of vehicles currently under its mobility financing arrangements.
The company said the vehicles involved are valued at approximately ₦35 billion, underscoring the scale of its operations in the Nigerian market.
Moove, which was founded in Lagos and expanded to several markets globally, has provided vehicle financing and mobility solutions to drivers in Nigeria since its launch.
The company said further details on the transition and the process for eligible customers would be communicated as the shutdown progresses.
