
A delegation led by the Director General, National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Mr. Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin, on Tuesday concluded a tour of the Lucas-Nuelle factory in Kerpen, Germany, as part of a 6-day official trip. According to NADDC, the visit aims to foster collaboration between the Nigerian automotive sector and leading international Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), focusing on enhancing the country’s automotive infrastructure and technical expertise.
During the visit, the team was welcomed by Mr. Jorg Siekmann, CEO of Lucas-Nuelle, who expressed his pleasure in hosting the NADDC delegation.
Siekmann emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting organizations like the NADDC in advancing automotive education and training.
As a global leader in providing innovative training solutions, Lucas-Nuelle aims to contribute to the development of the Nigerian automotive sector, particularly in areas related to electric vehicles (EVs) and CNG-powered vehicles.
In his response, Mr. Osanipin conveyed his gratitude for the warm reception and highlighted the alignment of Lucas-Nuelle’s philosophy of ‘Real Experience Learning’ with NADDC’s mission to promote excellence within the automotive industry.
He underscored the significance of equipping the next generation of automotive professionals with the skills necessary to thrive in an industry increasingly shaped by new technologies.
The NADDC team, led by Mr. Osanipin, also took a guided tour of the Lucas-Nuelle facility, where they were introduced to the company’s cutting-edge training equipment and solutions by the Area Sales Manager, Mr. Lionel Hemme.
According to NADDC, the visit marks a significant step toward strengthening the ties between Nigeria and global leaders in automotive innovation and training.
