The National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) on Monday raised alarm over the alleged impersonation of its Director General, Mr Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin.

In a public notice obtained by City Business News, NADDC said: “It has come to our notice that some unscrupulous persons are passing themselves off as the NADDC Director General, Mr Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin.

“They have been taking parts of his brand identity, and photographs with the intent to defraud unsuspecting members of the public. One of the platforms being used by these impostors is FACEBOOK, under the account name of “Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin”  who also poses as the Director General of NADDC.
“For the avoidance of doubt, The NADDC Director General’s personal Facebook account is Olu Osanipin Joseph. He will not be responsible for, and expressly disclaims all liabilities for, damages of any kind arising out of the use of, reference to, or reliance on any information obtained from these impostors’ Facebook account.
“The General Public should take note as anyone who engages with the said Facebook account or any other platform and material promoted by the imposters does so at their own risk.
