NAHCO Unveils New Ground Support Equipment

The Chairman, Board of Directors, Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO), Dr. Seinde Fadeni, on Tuesday commissioned some brand-new Ground Support Equipment (GSEs) acquired by the Company at the Cargo Ramp of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos.
Dr. Fadeni who cut the tape to commision nine high loaders pointed out that the company will continue to invest more in GSE to enhance service delivery.
The Group Executive Director, Corporate Services, Dr. Sola Obabori, expressed his happiness at the event, stating that the commissioning was part of a series of events for NAHCO’s GSE fleet renewal, similar to a previous commissioning ceremony held by the company last year.
He added that the new equipment will boost customer confidence in the quality and reliability of NAHCO’s services.
He also noted that more equipment would be received by the Company in the coming months, with the goal of creating a very and extensive fleet for the company.
The Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Didier Steullet, highlighted that this acquisition represents a substantial investment of millions of dollars.
He described the purchase as a clear sign that the company is prioritizing long-term service quality.
He also noted that this acquisition process has been ongoing for some time and is a direct result of the visionary leadership of the board’s chairman.
