Ahead of the official launch in July, 2020, Honda on Wednesday revealed the details of its upcoming fifth-generation City sedan.
The midsize sedan competes with rivals like Maruti Suzuki CIaz, Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Vento, Skoda Rapid and Toyota Yaris.
According to Honda, the new Honda City will come as the longest (4,549 mm) and widest (1,748 mm) sedan in its segment.
Among other features, the new Honda City sedan is equipped with full LED headlamps, LED taillights, 17.7 cm HD full colour TFT meter with G-meter, LaneWatch camera, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Agile Handling Assist (AHA) etc.
The Hona City midsize sedan will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options.
The petrol variant will be powered by a 1.5L i-VTEC engine that will be available with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a CVT options. The engine churns out 121 PS of power at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm.
