Archbishop Michael Francis Crotty, the new Apostolic Nuncio (representative of the Roman Pontiff) to Nigeria has visited the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria to present a letter of introduction (Lettera Commendatizia) to the President of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN), Archbishop Lucius Ugorji.
The letter, signed by His Eminence, Cardinal P. Parolin, the Vatican Secretary of State, was received by Archbishop Lucius Ugorji on behalf of all the Catholic Bishops of Nigeria and the Nigerian Church.
