Nissan has launched the Kicks e-Power SUV in Thailand. The SUV is capable of delivering the power and performance of an electric car.
Available in four different variants, the e-Power technology onboard the Nissan Kicks e-Power SUV combines an EM57 electric motor with a 1.2-litre DOHC 12-valve three-cylinder engine. The powertrain is capable of delivering 129 PS of power and 260 Nm of torque.
The SUV comes with four different driving modes, which are Normal, S, Eco and EV.
As the automaker claims, Thailand is the first country to produce Nissan’s e-Power technology after Japan and one of the first to launch it
Commenting on this, Yutaka Sanada, MC Chairman and regional Senior vice president, Nissan Asia & Oceania, said, “The launch of the all-new Nissan Kicks e-POWER in Thailand represents the disruptive and innovative DNA of Nissan that we continue to bring to the region.”
Sananda also added, “This is an exciting day for Nissan and Thailand, as a key global production and export hub for Nissan and regional leader driving the company’s vision for electrification of mobility.”
It is not clear, if Nissan will bring the SUV here or not, but the standard variant of the Kicks SUV is available in the doemstic market.
