NPA pledges to harness business potentials at Seaports

 The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) is to harness all business potentials available at the nation’s seaports.
  Speaking at an interactive session with Warri Port stakeholders, NPA Board Chairman, Emmanuel Olajide Adesoye, stressed the need for all hands to be on deck through proper planning and meaningful sharing of information within the sector and beyond.
  He affirmed that the board and the management were aware of numerous challenges facing Seaports and locations, adding that they were getting attention in the 2017 budget.
Also speaking at the event, the Managing Director of the NPA, Hadiza Bala Usman stated that the management would pay due attention to dredging to ensure greater customer service delivery.
  On his part, the Port Manager Delta Ports, Mr S. OKEKE appealed for assistance concerning perimeter fencing to secure the port, intense promotion to attract more investments and the rehabilitation of infrastructure at the Seaport located in warri.
