For the first six months of 2018, the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) recovered not less than N88 million, $23,000 illegal charges for Nigerian shippers.
Speaking at a capacity building session for Journalists in Lagos, Deputy Director, Compliance and Enforcement, Cajetan Agu explained that the Council has been intervening on behalf of Nigerian shippers.
Speaking earlier, the Executive Secretary of the Council, Hassan Bello, represented by Director, Special Duties, I. Nweke commended Journalists for their contributions to the development in the sector, adding that there is need to do more.
