The management of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting workers and their families through the Employees’ Compensation Scheme, presenting cheques totalling N75,840,194.73 to beneficiaries in Port Harcourt.
The presentations included:
🔹 N54.6 million to the dependants of a late employee of Depthwize Nigeria Ltd., with monthly death benefits to continue until 2042.
🔹 N13.1 million to an employee of Daewoo Nigeria Ltd., covering medical refunds and disability benefits following a workplace accident.
🔹 N8 million to an NSITF staff member who suffered a workplace injury.
MD/CE Barr. Oluwaseun Faleye emphasized the Fund’s dedication to delivering timely support and making NSITF a world-class social protection provider. A statement explained that beneficiaries and employers alike expressed gratitude for the Fund’s swift intervention and renewed efficiency.
