It is with a heavy heart that I commiserate with the Anglican Bishop of Sabongida-Ora, His Lordship, Rt. Rev. Augustine E. Ohilebo, over the passing of his wife, Mrs. Rosemary Ohilebo.
She was a kind-hearted, compassionate and loving woman, who devoted herself to service in the Lord’s vineyard.
A devout Christian, she was heavily invested in the things of God and gave herself freely to growing the Church.
Fondly called “Mama Sabo,” Mrs. Ohilebo provided guidance to many who sought advice from her, helping to steer Christians in the way of the Lord.
She was a light to the world and was a source of warmth for many who were distressed.
She will be remembered for her commitment to the Church; her knack for excellence and devotion to providing succour to all.

I commiserate with Rt. Rev. Augustine Ohilebo, the Diocese of Sabongida-Ora and the entire Anglican communion over her passing and pray that God will grant all the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

His Excellency,
Godwin Obaseki
Governor, Edo State.
