Okomu Oil Donates Borehole To Odiguetue Community

 The people of Odiguetue community in Ovia North L o c a l Government area of Edo state have commended Okomu Oil Palm Company for giving them another borehole, bringing the total borehole sank by Okomu Oil in the  Odiguetue Community to three.

 The occasion was the commissioning of the borehole by the Commissioner of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Hon ErinomaOyeEdorodion, during  his working visit to Okomu Extention 11 Plantation.

 The Commissioner thanked the company for her Corporate Social Responsibility projects in Edo State which according to him is helping the State Government and enjoined the people to thrive to sustain the borehole for the benefit of all.

 Apart from the borehole, the company also renovated the House of the Odionwere’s house. It is instructive to note that Odiguetue community is one of the about 30 communities that falls under the area covered by Okomu Oil Corportae Social Responsibility programme.

 Appreciating the company during the commissioning ceremony, the community spoken person  Mr John Elahor describes the Managing Director of Okomu Oil Dr Graham Hefer as “ Alaghodaro“ meaning a person that brings good things. Toa  large extent, this is an appropriate description when one takes into consideration, the consistent developmental projects that Okomu has brought to the surrounding communities
