The Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo
has appointed Dr. Ebojele Akhere Patrick as the new Chief Press Secretary (CPS).
Dr. Ebojele has worked with several media establishments, including serving as the Edo/Delta Correspondent for Channels Television, and holding positions at New Nigerian Newspaper, Champion Newspaper, and Comet Newspapers.
In a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, the administration described Dr. Ebojele’s appointment as a strategic step toward strengthening the government’s communication framework.
The statement emphasized the need for clear, transparent, and effective dissemination of government policies, programs, and activities.
Dr. Ebojele replaces Mr. Fred Itua, who will be reassigned within the government after completing the formal handover process.
The government expressed appreciation to Mr. Itua for his service and contributions.
