Presco Declares Interim Dividend, N34.2b Revenue In Nine Months

For the nine months period ended September 30, 2021, Presco Plc attained N34.2b (N34,236,781) revenue, compared with N6.5 (N6,577,379) recorded within same period in 2020.  

 In its unaudited nine months interim financial statement to the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) on Friday, Presco Plc explained that Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the period stood at N17,581,798 compared with N6,577,379 recorded in 2020.  

  The company also disclosed that within the period, administrative expenses stood at N4,820,487 as against N3,263,831 reported in 2020. 

  Based on the performance, Presco Plc in the report signed by Managing Director, Felix Nwabuko and Chie Finance Officer, Kenneth Crocket, declared an interim dividend for shareholders.

  ” On Friday, the 19th of November 2021, Interim dividend of N1.00 per fifty kobo share subject to deductions of withholding tax at the appropriate rate will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the register of members as at close of business on Friday, 12 November, 2021 and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the registrar to pay their dividend into their bank accounts”. 

At the company’s 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held by proxy at Obaretin Estate, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area, Edo State, in July, this year,  shareholders approved a 200 kobo per share dividend, amounting to N2billion for the 2020 financial year.
