Renaissance has signed a landmark Gas Sale Agreement (GSA) with Indorama Fertilizer FZE for the long-term supply of up to 60 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscf/d) of natural gas from the ANOH Gas Processing Facility over the next 16 years.
City Business News reports that the agreement marks a significant milestone in efforts to unlock the value of Nigeria’s abundant natural gas resources through strategic partnerships that support industrialisation, enhance agricultural productivity, and promote sustainable economic growth.
Under the deal, Renaissance will supply up to 60 MMscf/d of natural gas to Indorama Fertilizer FZE, ensuring a reliable energy source for one of the country’s leading fertiliser producers.
The company said the partnership aligns with its commitment to driving industrial development, strengthening food security, and creating long-term economic value by leveraging Nigeria’s vast gas reserves.
Speaking on the agreement, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Renaissance, Tony Attah, said the gas supply arrangement extends beyond commercial objectives, highlighting its broader impact on national development.
According to Attah, supplying natural gas to a major fertiliser producer such as Indorama will support a critical value chain that underpins agricultural productivity, industrial expansion, and economic diversification.
He noted that the agreement demonstrates the transformative role of natural gas in powering industries, creating jobs, and enabling sustainable development across Nigeria and the African continent.
Renaissance added that the partnership reflects its vision of delivering reliable energy solutions that stimulate investment, enhance manufacturing capacity, and contribute to a more prosperous future for Nigeria and Africa.
