Renault, Nissan Seal Traffic Data Collection Alliance

Renault NissanTechnology and Business Centre India (RNTBCI) has joined hands with International Centre for Automotive Technology of India (ICAT) for collecting in-depth data of road accidents.

The project will facilitate scientific data-driven approach towards safer roads in India, claims Nissan in a release.

Under this partnership, RNTBCI will support the alliance with data analysis and training. The project aims to reduce traffic fatality by scientifically understanding the factors involved in serious and fatal accidents in the country.

This project has been approved by the Department of Heavy Industry and it will be executed by Accident Data Analysis Centre (ADAC) at ICAT and RNTBCI will support the project with its engineering and technical expertise.
