
The President of the Road Safety Officers Wives Association (ROSOWA), Dr. Nafisat Shehu Mohammed, on Saturday, 15th November 2025, led a compassionate and impactful outreach to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Jabi, Abuja, as part of activities marking the 2025 Remembrance for Road Traffic Crash Victims.
Dr. Mohammed and her delegation were warmly welcomed by the Head of Clinical Services, Dr. Bioku Muftau, who received them on behalf of the hospital’s Chief Medical Director.
The visit underscores ROSOWA’s sustained commitment to standing with victims of road traffic crashes and offering support to families undergoing challenging medical and emotional journeys.
During the outreach, the ROSOWA President presented relief materials, essential toiletries, and cash tokens to patients in the pediatrics, surgical, and antenatal wards.
A statement explained that her gesture brought smiles and comfort to many, reflecting the association’s core mission of compassion, empathy, and service.
Expressing gratitude, Dr. Muftau thanked ROSOWA for the thoughtful intervention and prayed for continued blessings upon Dr. Mohammed and her team.
He commended the association for consistently reaching out to vulnerable patients and providing humanitarian support where it matters most.
The outreach forms part of ROSOWA’s broader activities aimed at honouring victims of road traffic crashes, supporting survivors, and deepening public awareness on road safety and responsible driving culture.
