Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has inaugurated the TY Logistics Park Free Zone Enterprise (FZE) in Alaro City, describing the project as a major milestone that will redefine the future of logistics, industrial growth, and investment competitiveness in Lagos.
Speaking at the launch on Monday, the Governor commended General T.Y. Danjuma (Rtd.) and Senator Daisy Danjuma for their vision and continued confidence in Lagos through their investments under TY Holdings.
He noted that the new facility demonstrates the impact of responsible private-sector investment and the state’s ongoing reforms to create an enabling environment for businesses.
Situated within Lagos’ fastest-growing economic corridor, the new logistics park is strategically positioned near the Lekki Deep Sea Port, Dangote Refinery, emerging manufacturing clusters, and the upcoming Lekki–Epe International Airport. According to the Governor, a grade-A logistics hub in this location will significantly reduce supply chain costs, support exporters, and open up quality economic opportunities for residents.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also acknowledged the Federal Government’s commitment to the 7th Axial Road, a major infrastructure link expected to enhance the flow of cargo and strengthen the entire logistics chain from the port inland.
He reaffirmed that the project aligns with the State Government’s THEMES+ development agenda, which prioritises modern infrastructure, improved mobility, and regulatory efficiency. He added that Alaro City is rapidly emerging as a preferred industrial destination and that the state will continue to create the conditions that make Lagos the most attractive investment location in Nigeria.
“Today is always the next best day to invest in Lagos,” the Governor said, assuring investors of sustained support and partnership.
