Security Agents Trail Kidnappers Of ABC Transport Passengers

Security agencies have intensified efforts to rescue 11 passengers of ABC Transport and seven passengers of River State Transport company.
The passengers were kidnapped on March 16, 2025 in Kogi State while on their way to Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
In a chat with City Business News on Friday, a source explained that a total of eleven passengers were taken from ABC Transport 14 seater Bus and seven from Rivers state Transport Company, adding that “one passenger was left behind”.
Explaining further, the source said: “The Kidnappers have contacted the relatives of all the victims and are talking to them individually.”
Meanwhile, the Kogi State Government disclosed on Friday that combined security operatives are currently trailing the abductors of the passengers.
According to Jerry Omodara, the Security Adviser to the Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo,
“We are on the trail of the kidnappers, and I am confident that we will rescue the passengers unhurt.”
According to Agency Reports, the Bus, travelling from Abuja to Enugu/Owerri, was hijacked by gunmen at Oloma in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi, a border town between Kogi and Enugu States.
